Rebecca joined M A Legal at a time where we recognised that in order to truly support our clients we needed to offer the same strategic and sound advice and assistance outside of their commercial and business needs.
Rebecca joined M A Legal with the sole vision of creating an environment where her clients would feel heard, supported, advised and secure knowing that they had a strong team in their corner. And so, the Private Clients Division was born.
Rebecca applies her passion for the law, and unfaltering determination for results, to each and every one of her client matters. No stone is ever left unturned in her desire to help, guide and support them along in their journey. She is a straight shooter with killer wit, and heels to match. Rebecca is a listener first and foremost; she takes the time to fully understand a client’s needs and wants before talking about strategies that may be adopted.
Rebecca has extensive experience in family law, estate planning, litigation and employment law. She has practised in specialist accredited boutique law firms, generalist suburban firms, assisted a deputy president at Fair Work Australia, offered her services after work as a volunteer at the Fitzroy Legal Service as well as been a member of the bankruptcy and insolvency team at one of Australia’s larger law firms.
She subscribes to the philosophy that family lawyers are the last of the generalists and as a result regularly advises on complex matters involving utilising trust structures and commercial arrangements to best protect her clients in business and in life.
Outside of work, Rebecca is a lover of brunches, snowboarding, travels, her friends she affectionately calls the sisterhood, a good red wine, the occasional espresso martini, art and food. She is also busy raising her daughter to be a fierce, strong and independent soul and has thrilled to have revived her passion for motorcycle riding.
