Adam Arness

Adam joined the M A Legal team in August 2020.

Energetic and passionate, Adam adopts a pragmatic approach to all matters, striving to achieve prompt and fair outcomes for his clients. He is meticulous in his planning and provides clients with practical, objective and commercially-minded advice.

Prior to joining M A Legal, Adam practised at a generalist firm and has a strong background in all aspects of family law including property and financial matters, parenting disputes and intervention order proceedings. Adam’s knowledge is strengthened by previous practice in commercial law, wills and estates and employment law. A confident litigator and advocate, Adam regularly undertakes appearance work across multiple jurisdictions including the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, the Family Court of Australia and Magistrates’ Court of Victoria.

Outside of work, you can find Adam volunteering on numerous Boards and Committees in the local community. Such experiences have assisted Adam in building strong rapport and mutual trust and respect with individuals of all backgrounds and in highly stressful situations. Outside of the Board Room, you might spot Adam navigating Melbourne’s culinary scene, consuming copious amounts of quality coffee or enjoying a fine wine with friends.
