Emily Elford

Emily completed her Bachelor of Laws degree in 2013 in New Zealand and then studied at the University of Copenhagen in 2014. Emily was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand in 2015 and transferred her admission to practice in Victoria in 2020.

Emily has joined MA Legal in the litigation and commercial team. She is dynamic, energetic and driven in her pursuit to become a successful and personable lawyer in Melbourne. She has a strong passion for using her personal and professional growth to help others with their legal needs.  She has found M A Legal to be the perfect environment to be mentored and develop her career.

Emily has travelled extensively gaining invaluable life lessons from around the globe. Professionally, she has worked autonomously for a boutique firm in New Zealand on a landmark class action claim against many international companies in the building industry as well as other litigation matters.

Outside of work Emily spends her time practicing yoga and meditation, reading and going for ocean swims and walks in nature.
